Except this home has three sommeliers, a Michelin star trained chef, and over 150 wines from the top small producers around the globe.

Our friendly staff uses their extensive experience in wine to guide you to the ideal bottlefor your taste, while the kitchen team will whip you up a perfect pairing to go with it upon request. You can enjoy the very best cheese and charcuterie boards on the Peninsula (possibly even in the Bay – sorry SF), or grab a bottle to take with you at retail prices.

About Us

The perfect pairing.

Tom Boriolo and John Graham-Taylor opened the BottleShop during the pandemic in October 2020. With a focus on small production estate wines, farm to-table food and wine pairings, wine retail, and community, they “bring the high-end to the high street” in downtown Redwood City.

Tom and John met at the Michelin star restaurant Trevise in Los Gatos in 2007, where John was the Wine Director and General Manager, and Tom was the Wine and Service Captain. With resumes that include Chez TJ, Quince, Cotogna and numerous other top restaurants, they bring over 65 years of experience to the table.
